Castel di Vergio is the ugliest camp site in the park. A highway runs alongside, and even the trail runs alongside the highway for perhaps 200 meters.

On the other hand, the road means that a hotel and ski resort next to the campsite sells food as well as operates a restaurant. And the hotel means there is hot water for showers.
