The weather forcast at the Refuge d'I Paliri called for 80 kph winds that night. The refuge was in a mountain path that clearly received a lot of wind based on the number of wind breaks we saw. We found one that fit our tent (just).

During the day I would walk in shorts, putting the bottoms of my pants on at night for warmth. Note, after two weeks, how different they are in color.
