The park wishes us a good hike.

The red and white blaze will stay with us for the next sixteen days, signalling the course of the GR20. The six hour estimate to the first refuge (mountain hut, sole authorized locations of overnight camping) is a bit absurd to us. My guide proposed 7 hours, and we took over ten hours in the end to reach the Refuge d'Ortu di u Piobbu.

Note that we are starting rather late in the day, which means we have missed out on the possibility of hiking the first few hours in the shade.
